FAQ
Do you shoot weddings?
Yes, but a very limited number per year. I highly recommend contacting me as soon as you have a date picked if you're considering or planning a wedding.
Will there be a second shooter?
I bring a second shooter with me to all weddings and some other select photo sessions. We will discuss the need of a second shooter when you reach out for availability info.
Can I extend the session on the day of?
Absolutely! I will bill for the added time once the session is finished, and I'll send images over after the additional fee has been paid.
What kind of gear do you use?
I shoot with a Canon R6 and use high-quality lenses such as the 35mm f/1.4, 85mm f/1.8, 70-200 f/2.8, and others.
Do I have to order prints through you?
No, you are not required to order prints through me. However, I do love having the opportunity to help you select the perfect print options for your session, and I love creating photo books for my clients!
Can you help me pick our outfits?
Yes of course! You'll receive a clothing guide after booking, and I'm always available to Facetime or respond to picture texts of your outfit options to help you pick the best one.
What if my kid cries during the session?
Kids are unpredictable, but don't stress! The best thing you can do as a parent is calm down and let me work with the child on their terms. Having a stranger walk up and stick a big scary object in their face can understandably upset a little tike, and I've found ways to encourage playfulness and trust during photo sessions. While I cannot 100% guarantee your child will smile at the camera, I can generally get some great shots of even the crankiest baby.
Can I get portraits of myself alone?
Unequivocally yes! I love a good 1-on-1 session. You'll be the recipient of my undivided attention and lame dad jokes (sorry!).
Can you create a short video of our family/event?
Depending on the situation I may be able to add on a 30-60 second video for an added fee. If this is something you're interested, definitely mention it when you reach out and we can discuss your options.
